בשבוע הבא כשתגיע לכאן, נשיא ארה"ב טראמפ, לביקור ראשון והיסטורי, תוכל להוכיח לעם האמריקאי ולעולם כולו שאתה לא עוד נשיא, אלא נשיא אמריקאי ומנהיג אחר. הצהרתך במהלך הקמפיין כי לכשתבחר לנשיא תעביר את השגרירות האמריקאית לירושלים, באה ממקום עמוק ואמיתי. אתה יודע שבמהלך זה יש הרבה יותר מאשר משמעות סימלית בלבד. זהו צעד בעל משמעות מדינית והיסטורית לעם היהודי,למדינת ישראל ולעולם החופשי.
במשך 70 שנה ישראל נדרשת לשלם את מחיר ההתנגדות הערבית לתכנית החלוקה שהוציאה את ירושלים מהמדינה היהודית שבדרך. אישור התכנית באו״מ ב כ״ט בנובמבר 1947, היתה האות לפתיחת המתקפה של הערבים כולל 7 מדינות ערב שביקשו להשליך אותנו מארץ ישראל ולקחת לידיהם את כל השטח שבין הירדן לים ובתוכו את כל ירושלים.
יש בידיך את היכולת ויש באופייך את האומץ המדרש לעשות את המעשה ולהעביר את השגרירות לירושלים. בצעד זה תבהיר לעולם ולערבים שיש מחיר למהלכים שבצעו כדי לגרש את היהודים מירושלים ומארץ ישראל.
רבים בעולם מבינים את האבסורד שבאי הכרה בירושלים כבירת ישראל, אך אין בנמצא מנהיג שיאזור עוז לעשות מעשה. בכלל, דברים נוראיים קורים באזורנו שמנהיגים נמנעים מלהתגייס למניעתם : הטבח בסוריה, הקריסה בלוב, הטבח בתימן ועוד. במקום שאין מנהיגים, היה אתה מנהיג!

Next week when you will arrive here, President Trump, for your first and historic visit, you can prove to the American people and to the entire world that you are not just another president, but an American president and a leader from another kind. Your statement during the campaign, that when you will be elected to be president, you will move the American embassy to Jerusalem, came from a deep and genuine place. You know that there is more to this move than just symbolic meaning. This is a step of political and historical significance for the Jewish people, the State of Israel and the free world.
For 70 years Israel has been forced to pay the price of Arab resistance to the partition plan that took Jerusalem out of the Jewish state. The approval of the plan by the United Nations on November 29, 1947, was the signal for the Arab offensive, including seven Arab states, who wanted to throw us out of the Land of Israel and take over the entire area between the Jordan River and the sea.
You have the ability in your hands and you the courage in your character to do it and move the embassy to Jerusalem. This step will make it clear to the world and the Arabs that there is a price for the steps they have taken to expel the Jews from Jerusalem and the Land of Israel.
Many people in the world understand the absurdity of not recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, but there is no leader who will dare to do anything. Generally speaking, terrible things happen in our region that leaders refrain from acting to prevent: the massacre in Syria, the collapse in Libya, the massacre in Yemen and more. Where there are no leaders, be the leader!
Fear not, neither be dismayed, for Israel is with you.
